FEATURED PROJECT

DVA

DVA RENEWABLE ENERGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY

1. General introduction of the project
One of the typical projects that clearly demonstrates the capacity and role of IMES in the field of supplying industrial equipment and trading recycled products is the long-term cooperation relationship with DVA Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company – a pioneer in solid waste pyrolysis technology in Vietnam.

The project will be implemented from 2024 at Toc Tien Waste Treatment Area, Phu My Town, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, with the orientation of long-term and sustainable development. IMES plays the role of a special strategic partner of DVA, taking full responsibility for providing machinery and equipment, operating materials, repair and testing, and participating in the commercialization of output products from the pyrolysis process such as: pyrolysis oil, recycled steel (steel melt) and carbon black (rCB).

2. Objectives and significance of cooperation
The cooperation between IMES and DVA does not stop at the level of normal commercial transactions, but also has strategic significance and sustainable development orientation for both parties, contributing to the realization of the circular economic model in industrial waste treatment in Vietnam.

Specifically, the project’s objectives are:

  • Optimizing the performance of waste treatment plants through the provision of high-quality machinery, equipment and spare parts, suitable for the characteristics of pyrolysis technology.
  • Ensuring continuity and stability in equipment repair, maintenance and testing activities, thanks to the fast and synchronous supply system from IMES.
  • Effectively commercializing products obtained from waste treatment (pyrolysis oil, carbon black, steel wire), contributing to regenerating economic value from waste and minimizing environmental pollution.

3. IMES’s role in the project

3.1. Supply of machinery and equipment
With many years of experience in the field of supplying industrial equipment and technical solutions, IMES undertakes:

  • Consulting, selecting and importing specialized equipment for pyrolysis technology such as: reaction chambers, oil separators, condensation systems, air compressors, circulating pumps, exhaust gas treatment systems, etc.
  • Supplying consumables and replacement accessories for the operating process such as gaskets, seals, valves, temperature sensors, controllers, mechanical chains, electrical control systems.
  • Technically accompanying DVA’s team of engineers to inspect, evaluate, and adjust equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.

3.2. Equipment maintenance, repair and testing services
IMES also provides:

  • Periodic maintenance services to extend equipment life and minimize the risk of unexpected downtime.
  • Emergency repair service in a short time, ensuring no impact on DVA’s production progress.
  • Support testing and improving equipment, helping DVA improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs.

3.3. Commercialization of recycled products from pyrolysis
An important part of the project is the commercialization of output products from the pyrolysis process of rubber and plastic waste. IMES is responsible for:

  • Pricing, marketing and distributing products such as:
    • Tire Pyrolysis Oil (TPO): Crude oil used as industrial fuel or raw material for chemical production.
    • Steel Wire Scrap: Recycled product from tire frames, can be re-smelted in the metallurgical industry.
    • Recovered Carbon Black (rCB): Additive for the production of rubber, paint, plastic or construction materials.
  • Connect with domestic and foreign partners, expand the market for recycled products, thereby creating a stable and sustainable revenue stream for the value chain.

4. Project scale and impact
With a strategic geographical location at Toc Tien Waste Treatment Area – the waste reception and treatment center of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, the project is meaningful not only to the enterprise but also to the whole region.

  • Large scale of operation, with dozens of tons of rubber and plastic waste processed every day.
  • Contribute to reducing environmental pressure, by converting non-degradable waste into products of high economic value.
  • Create jobs and stable income for hundreds of local workers.
  • Affirm the role of private enterprises in promoting the green economy and clean industry.

5. Future development orientation
In the coming time, IMES and DVA will continue to expand the scale of cooperation, specifically:

  • Invest in upgrading technological lines, gradually converting to smart, highly automated models.
  • Developing a closed value chain, from waste collection – processing – distributing recycled products – reinvesting in production.
  • Towards international standards in the production and distribution of recycled products, expanding export markets.
  • Applying digital technology, especially big data and AI to the process of equipment management and operation.

The cooperation project between IMES and DVA Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company is a clear demonstration of IMES’s supply capacity, technology and sustainable development thinking. By playing a strategic role in equipment supply, technical maintenance and commercialization of recycled products, IMES not only contributes to promoting the circular economic model, but also affirms its position as a reliable partner in the field of renewable energy and environmental treatment.
